The Founder

My name is Bula Kaupe, I was born and raised in Wailuku and I am the founder of Hawaiʻi Web Solutions. At a young age my mom saw the possibilities of computers and bought me one. Ever since then I was captivated with computer technology. At age 11, my teacher let me borrow his video tapes on HTML coding and I created my first website a month later. Eventually I graduated and moved to California for college and sports and landed an intern job with a design firm. Now, with over 15 years of professional experience in web development, I have the expertise and knowledge necessary to help businesses succeed online.

As a web developer, I am passionate about creating stunning, user-friendly websites that not only look great but also perform exceptionally well. I have a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end languages, including HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP, as well as extensive experience with servers and databases. This means that I am equipped to create websites that are not only visually appealing but also fast, secure, and reliable.

One thing that sets me apart from other web developers is my intimate understanding of the unique needs and challenges facing Hawaii businesses. I was born and raised in Maui, and I know that businesses in Hawaii have unique challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked for California companies and design agencies, gaining experience in a variety of programming languages and software.
